Preconditioning: the first time lightly grease the steak pan and heat it on low heat until the oil has evaporated.
Daily use: before using it place the empty steak pan on the heat source and heat it well without greasing it, for 4 to 5 minutes.
How to keep it efficient: avoid using water to cool it, the sudden cooling can cause it to crack. Instead, wait until it reaches room temperature and then proceed to wash it, taking care, if pieces of food remain attached to the cooking surface, to soak the steak pan in water and after a reasonable period of time has elapsed, proceed to clean it using common liquid detergents and sponges.
