Xanthan is obtained from the fermentation of corn starch. It is a gum of great thickening and suspending power (keeps elements in suspension in a liquid, without them precipitating).


Xantana is part of the family of "Espesantes," which make it possible to thicken, soups, sauces, creams, etc., by adding a minimal amount and preserving the original flavor of the preparation.


Characteristics: soluble both hot and cold. Even heating it to 50°C does not lose its thickening properties. Shake slowly and let it hydrate on its own.
