PLA is a natural alternative to polyethylene, which is instead a petroleum-derived product. It is highly transparent, robust, and unbreakable. PLA products are excellent for cold weather uses up to 40°C .Another positive side effect: for the same strength, PLA products are lighter than similar conventional materials.
