Inside the package, you will find the cups divided by the bases: to compose the flute you will just have to fit them together.

WHAT IS PLA?

That is, when polyactic acid is transformed into a synthetic product.
Transparent and 100 percent natural, polylactide-better known as PLA-is a synthetic polymer that belongs to the polyester category. It has a structure composed of many lactic acid molecules bonded to each other.
To produce this flûte, which is part of SDG's Naturesse line, lactic acid obtained through the fermentation of carbon hydrates is used. Currently, corn starch and sugarcane starch are used, but research continues to progress: in the future it should be possible to produce starch PLA from waste.

WHAT ARE THE QUALITIES OF PLA?

PLA is a natural alternative to polyethylene, which is instead a petroleum-derived product. It is highly transparent, strong and unbreakable. PLA products are excellent for cold weather uses up to 40°C.
Another positive side effect: for the same strength, PLA products are lighter than similar conventional materials.
