THE CHOCOLATE FONDUE
The chocolate fondue is ideal for a fine meal or snack that is nothing short of tasty. To melt the chocolate and make it smooth and homogeneous, we recommend using a nonstick saucepan with the addition of a few tablespoons of water, milk, cream or liqueur. The base for a good fondue is obviously chocolate, preferably dark chocolate; this combined with fresh seasonal fruit such as kiwi, apples, pears, bananas, tangerines and dried fruit.
HOW TO PREPARE THE FONDUE
Cut the dark chocolate into pieces and place it in a bain-marie or precisely in a nonstick saucepan; when it begins to melt, add cream, a few drops of liqueur, a pinch of cinnamon and stir, bringing it to a boil until it is smooth and without lumps. In the meantime, cut the fruit and arrange it in a large dish along with cookies, candy and fresh fruit. Transfer the melted chocolate to the saucepan of the fondue set; finally, place a candle under it so that it remains well melted.
