The vacuum created between the two walls allows the thermal insulation of liquids so that the temperature is maintained longer and prevents the formation of condensation on the outside.

During the production of the individual model a small hole is left at the outer base. The item (produced by hand) is taken up later, air is sucked out and the hole closed. To close the hole, the operator applies a small drop of glass, which quickly cools and seals the work done. Hence the presence of a small screw under the base of the container, due to the temperature difference, between the glass being cooled and the drop of glass to close the hole.
