La sera, quando il locale ha appena aperto e non vi sono clienti, se ha le candele accese dà un senso di accoglienza, di porta aperta. Ben più volentieri i primi clienti saranno invogliati ad entrare, superando quella resistenza che abbiamo tutti ad entrare in locale ancore vuoto. Soprattutto gli stranieri, che sanno di avere orari dei pasti diversi dai nostri, potrebbero temere di essere in anticipo sull'orario di apertura e, pur non sentirsi dire “siamo ancora chiusi”, evitano proprio di entrare in un ristorante che non sia chiaramente aperto. Un ristorante con le candele accese, invece, è chiaramente aperto e con le sue fiammelle dice: entra! sei il benvenuto.
Il relax durante i pasti o le serate
è uno tra i motivi principali per cui il cliente tornerà, forse a parità della qualità del cibo o del bere, quindi non sottovalutare questo particolare!
