Like a thread of wool: the new Steelite and Rona at the labyrinth of the Masone

FSG, the Italian representation of Steelite and Rona, organized a meeting for suppliers at the Masone Labyrinth in Fontanellato (PR), to make up for the cancellation of the Ambiente trade fair in Frankfurt, with the point and new proposals on its brands.

Steelite and Rona: watchword 'restart'

Two years after the start of the pandemic, it is still not easy to organize live events, even in the horeca sector, as containment regulations clash with the characteristics of trade shows and exhibitions. However, this does not stop the desire to resume pre-pandemic life, launch new lines on the market, and meet face-to-face with distributors, a key aspect of maintaining the human relationship that keeps interest alive and ignites curiosity.

These reasons prompted Steelite and Rona to make up for the cancellation of Europe's largest trade fair in the food service industry - Ambiente in Frankfurt - by meeting suppliers on a real country-by-country tour. RGmania, FSG 's official dealer for the province of Piacenza, was there.

The dealer for Italy for both companies is precisely. FSG, which undertook to present an interesting day of meetings and insights, in which representatives of the various firms spoke firsthand about the critical period at the commercial level, on several levels: demand outstripping supply on products; increasingly difficult availability, and the consequent increases on costs and supply difficulties; increases in production, both for the cost of energy and raw materials; and all the problems related to the pandemic and the war that has just broken out.

However, it was not only difficulties that were discussed, but also the need and desire for redemption, in the splendid setting of the labyrinth of the Masone di Fontanellato (PR), a place of incredible suggestion because of its overpowering nature, its impressive architecture and the cultural and gastronomic references that were a perfect match for the main topic of the day called"Like a thread of wool."

Steelite and Rona's new products

Steelite is shaping up to be an increasingly differentiated company, one that has incorporated and is incorporating more and more brands in order to ensure a wide and as complete offer as possible.

The new lines in the Steelite catalog are Asteria and Nyx, in black and white, with a view to matching different, complementary series. These series complement the brand's more classic ones still manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent, England, which are guaranteed for life against edge chipping and complete an already diverse assortment.

Steelite 's classic lines are joined by Rene Ozorio's handcrafted lines from Maham Studio and Robert Gordon, Folio cutlery, William Edwards' bone china, Aspen and Strahl's polycarbonate glasses, and above all Robert Welch, one of the most important partners, a manufacturer of steel models that look to a very high-end clientele; all without forgetting melamine and buffet items.

Alongside Steelite products, and the Robert Welch products, a space dedicated to the Rona products, new lines such as Eclipse, and popular trends such as the Umana line. Rona glasses and goblets are a joy for the eyes and for the table, they give value and depth to every mise-en-place and find their place in high-end settings.

FSG: a successful social meeting

It was therefore a cognitive and particularly fruitful day, to delve into production issues, discover new trends and meet with colleagues who on the Italian territory are granted the exclusive resale of FSG brands.

A healthy confrontation, in which RGmania had the pleasure of participating, in an unforgettable setting and with the goal of growth, comparison and knowledge.
