La pala è specifica per infornare ed è idonea all'utilizzo in ogni forno, anche quello a legna. Non è certificata per una temperatura specifica, visto che dev'essere utilizzata per pochi secondi, ovvero solo per adagiare la pizza o la focaccia in forno e dev'essere rimossa subito dopo.
