Straw paper

Straw paper is commonly called this because of its composition: it is 100% recycled paper as it is obtained from the maceration of paper from collections and industry processing waste.

Paper straw is of 2 types, traditional and food grade. Food grade paper straw is suitable for food contact, unlike traditional paper straw which cannot be used for this purpose. In fact, traditional straw paper is generally used to produce placemats and cutlery bags.

It is a very distinctive absorbent material with an irregular, wrinkled surface and color imperfections that make it instantly recognizable and rustic in appearance.

American straw paper placemats and cutlery racks are widely used in restaurants, pubs, and bars, as well as in taverns and inns.

From country-style establishments to the more contemporary and shabby chic, through the more post-industrial... straw paper is never out of place.
