The model with the 10 cm long handle can be used to mark ice and cold foods.
If, on the other hand, you think you want to engrave hot foods, then you should request the marker with a handle 15 cm long. If you need a marker that is resistant to direct fire and blowtorch, this is the model you need.
If you need to use it hot, a flame will suffice. Of course, remember to heat ONLY the bronze part with the logo/graphics.
