KWARX ® - Advanced Material
The REVEAL-UP® series is made of KWARX® - Advanced Material, a new and exclusive material researched and patented by Arc International®; the material's properties make the goblet less prone to breakage, as shiny as crystal, and resistant to over 2000 dishwasher cycles, all combined with the fact that it is lead-free.
Kwarx ® combines the best qualities of glass products and is even better...: it has the transparency, sparkle and fineness of lead crystal, but the strength of glass.
It is 100% recyclable.
Kwarx ® combines the following three properties
- Pure Kwarx ®: transparency.
Today, Kwarx ® is the material that comes closest to perfect neutrality. It avoids chromatic misperception of its contents. Transparency is scientifically measured by a W index, and the discoloration effect by a T index. For Kwarx ®, the W index is greater than 90 out of 100 and T is close to zero. (For comparison, the W index is about 89 for lead crystal and, more importantly, 86 for traditional glass.) The coloration of its contents is authentically preserved.
- Bright Kwarx ®: endless brilliance.
Kwarx ® retains its exceptional brilliance wash after wash, an extraordinary laboratory-tested shine that is persistent after more than 2,000 industrial washes.
Resistance to the rigors of the dishwasher has been increased by 4-5 times. Plus no so-called "wig effect" (white lines appearing on the glass).
- Strong Kwarx ®: high strength.
Kwarx ® has been tested and provides maximum mechanical strength due to its structure and composition as well as unique manufacturing process. The tight invisible bond between the foot and the cup provides a perfect result with smooth surface and no weak points.
